Initially, Venus wasn’t the easiest person to get a hold of. But I’m glad we did. She was very friendly and easy to work with. She provided answers to many of our questions on wedding ceremonies and the marriage licensing process. Venus also supplied us with ample resources to help develop our own custom-written ceremony and vows. Her non-judgmental demeanor and open-mindedness made it effortless to convey our own personal feelings and beliefs toward our wedding ceremony. Although at times communication may not have been so fluid with all the email tagging, she definitely came through in the end. Our ceremony was such a neat and tailored package of our own beliefs and expressions of love for one another, which Venus presented beautifully. Thank you Venus!

We appreciated Venus' level of flexibility and willingness to help us create a ceremony that really expressed who we are. Everything turned out perfect and we all had a great time. Her fun, easy-going and open-minded personality was a perfect fit, exactly what we were looking for… for our non-traditional Disneyland wedding.
Being from out of state, her guidance was instrumental in our preparations, ensuring that we knew exactly what to do every step of the way.
We will definitely refer Venus to our friends and you will not go wrong having her perform your ceremony. Traditional or non-traditional, her level of experience gives her the flexibility to do whatever your heart desires.

Venus was absolutely amazing. She was so helpful during such a stressful time. Venus officiated our wedding with only a week's notice and made it seem like she had worked with us for some time. She wrote a lovely ceremony introduction for us and was so personable. I would highly recommend her for your wedding officiant. Thanks, Venus!!

I needed an Officiant last minute (1-month before the wedding), and luckily, she happened to be available! She was very nice and still took the extra effort to make sure the wedding was special and memorable. She still asked us questions about our relationship in order to create a truly personalized and beautiful ceremony for us. She listened to what we wanted in a ceremony and followed through - I would recommend her hands down to anyone who is looking for a caring and personable Officiant who will make sure to work with you to create a very special ceremony!

Working with Venus Kitagawa-Stojsic was an absolute pleasure. As far as Celebrants/Officiants go, she was the one who matched me perfectly. She was upbeat and personal, making sure the ceremony was about us and nothing else. By adding our relationship quirks to the ceremony, she made the entire thing ours. While speaking, she was articulate and personable.
She understood throughout my barrage of questions, answering with detail and a wonderful air of friendliness. Her questions were thorough and made my husband and I thrilled that she actually took the time to get to know us as people and not just clients. While working with her, it was like working with a new friend; she wasn’t intrusive, and supported us throughout the stressful patches.
The most important thing, though, was that she matched our personalities. She expressed a laid back disposition without giving off an air of laziness. Knowing her has been an extremely pleasurable experience, one I hope to continue in the future.

I had the absolute pleasure working with Venus. Venus and I were both vendors for a gorgeous Temecula Valley Winery wedding. I met her at the rehearsal and she was pleasant and easy to work with from the get go. The first thing that I loved about her was her energy— she has this amazing aura around her that makes everyone at ease, especially the bride. The second thing that I immediately noticed was her attention to detail and attention to doing whatever she can to make her client happy. I have worked with countless officiants and celebrants in the past, but no one holds a tune to the fabulous celebrant Venus Kitagawa-Stojsic. Venus sees the big picture, she actually cares about her clients needs and goes over and beyond to work with the other vendors at the wedding to make sure that the client gets the wedding of their dreams. First impressions are definitely everything and Venus delivers.
As a photographer, I'm also trying to do whatever I can to make my clients happy. With that in mind, I was elated in how helpful Venus was to make sure that happened for me. For instance, the smallest gestures can change everything; what many ministers or officiants don't remember to do is to move to the side after the "kiss". It's not a make it or break it deal in the photograph, however the attention to the littlest details like that really count. For her to know how precious the moment of the seal of the kiss is and to move aside is very forward thinking and proves my very point of her being someone that does everything she can to make her clients happy. My point in this little instance is given you proof that Venus is not only amazing and what she does, but also for the very fact that t his all goes back to Venus seeing and recognizing the big picture and believe me you, not everyone is like that. What I love most about Venus is her willingness to go above and beyond; this is why she is so successful and this is why EVERYONE wants to book her.
Venus is thoughtful, caring would recommend Venus to anyone wanting the best of the best!

Venus was a lifesaver! Two days before the ceremony, we realized our arranged officiant was not going to work out. Seeming disaster. Amazingly and thankfully, I came across her site. Venus was simply amazing. From the start, she was responsive and so nice! You felt that it was important to her that your ceremony was actually meaningful and not just a simple cookie cutter routine.
Despite the lack of lead time, she was clearly a pro. She worked closely with us to create a ceremony that would feel personal and relevant. And it truly was! She got perfectly what we wanted to achieve and delivered a touching, relevant ceremony that was simply lovely. Our families were impressed.
THANK YOU, VENUS!!!

A handmade DIY wedding, anyone?
Congratulations, Ro. & Se.! (This couple was almost too good looking for me to officiate for. ;-P )
That gorgeous backdrop was designed and assembled by the now-wife, as were the blankets everyone sat upon during the ceremony. The wedding was a small affair, with about 20 people, mostly family, in attendance. Picnic lunch, eaten lazing on the ground, was followed by a seated dessert with drinks.
It was a gorgeous sight, and one i will NOT forget.

A Pasadena backyard was the remarkable setting for a wedding ceremony i officiated on Easter Sunday 2012. This beautiful table, set against the home's garage, is where the couple and their guests sat for wine and cheese / dessert!
